Rachel Eakley
MA, RN-BC, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Rachel is a ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing individual psychotherapy and medication management for adults and children with mental health needs. She has experience working with clients across a broad spectrum of diagnoses, age groups, and needs. Rachel has a special interest in supporting individuals through times of transition, such as marriage, pregnancy, new parenthood, college, loss, and separation. She has been trained in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy at the Ellis Institute and additional training in mindfulness modalities.
Rachel will work with you to create a safe, nonjudgemental, and collaborative environment in which you can work together to address your specific goals.
Rachel earned a MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nursing from New York University Rory Meyer College of Nursing, as well as a BS in Nursing and MA in Psychology from NYU. Her thesis work focused on the interaction between physical and mental health and improving access to evidence based care. She holds undergraduate degrees in English and Psychology from Boston University in Boston, MA.
